Designation: Assistant Manager, Business Development
Experience: 2 – 5 years of experience as an AM
Domain Experience: Team Leader/Assistant Manager Operations managing hardcore sales process and willing to pursue his career in Business Development OR Senior Business Development Executive, wanting to move to a next level of responsibilities
Key Performing Areas
1. International Business Development
- Data Research towards prospecting, identifying and approaching potential customers
- Identifying target markets and target audience to build monthly/quarterly campaigns
- Review, Analyze and Execute campaigns
- Set up appointments from the campaigns (emails, cold calling and follow-ups)
- Connecting with the prospect on emails and calls to explain the service offerings
- Converting potentials to business
2. Handover to Execution
- Communication and coordination with the operations department for determining feasibility of the project
- Communication and coordination with the operations department for determining sampling of the project
- Communication and coordination with the finance department for determining pricing of the project
- Maintaining coordination with the client and operations for organizing the initial training and briefing session
- Taking timely updates from the operations department till the first delivery
- Hand holding the project with the operations department till the first delivery
3. Account Management and Up-selling
- Weekly/Monthly calls with the clients to assure the customer satisfaction
- Looking for up-selling opportunities with the clients
4. Research and Development
- Identifying new service lines with research on web
- Actively participating on social groups relevant to industry
5. Social Presence
- Professional presence on social media
- Adhering to social media policy of the company
6. Technical Requirements
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Proficient with communication applications like Skype, Go to Meeting etc…
