Job Description:
  • Person will be accountable for development, production support and implementation related activities.(Planning, design, development and release management)
  • Capturing and Documentation Requirement along with Product Owner/Manager.
  • Participate and if required drive design and development decisions.
  • Responsible for integration with geo-located and multi-role teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Interact with BU teams to prepare and publish project scope, objectives, project plan and schedules; develop detailed work plan and status reports.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of features.
  • Must have good knowledge on Agile/Scrum with hands-on experience of minimum 2 years in agile.
  • Must be able to plan & track scope for sprint till closure
  • Must facilitate and participate in the Scrum ceremonies as per project defined guidelines

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Scope ( Main Target Summary):
This position will be responsible for overall delivery of New Part Development Project within timelines, budget & quality standards. Manage and lead a staff responsible for individual, multi-disciplined development project solutions for customers, with direct accountability for project delivery.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities: 

  • Complete Responsibility of RFQ handling, APQP Time Plan Management and delivery of the project as per agreed scope of works with Customers.
  • Manage the project team including Design Engineers, Production In charge, Development Quality Team , and administrative support ensuring that they develop schedules and budgets for assigned projects
  • Oversee planning & execution of the Project. Communicate and co-ordinate with management, Customer, subordinates for completing the development project successfully
  • Oversee the Development project as per the Company’s quality & safety requirements and procedures.
  • Continuously monitor and manage the project budget, resource requirements, cycle time and productivity levels to achieve project goals
  • Actively involve in design development process of each project, suggest changes in design for efficiency, value engineering, and ease of manufacturability.
  • Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
SKILLS :

Supervisory: 
  • Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. 
  • Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. 
  • Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies, Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

Financial Knowledge: 
  • Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. 
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as Tool Costing’s Planned Vs. Actuals  
  • Conducts advanced financial analysis of the all New Development Projects
Education: B.E. (Mechanical/Industrial ) 

Professional Experience: 8-10Years Experience preferably in Leading Automotive Manufacturing Industry with good communication skills.

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills: 
  • Hands on Experience in computer skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook Skills
  • Basic Design skills

Other Skills :
  • Intermediate skills with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite including 3D Design , PRO-E,CATIA ,UG & Auto CAD
  • Demonstrate ability to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
