Skill & Knowledge:

Financing:

  1. Business Financial Strategy /Planning , Operation ( Including overseas ) , Financial Information, Risk Management , Funding , Third Party ( Investment Communities, Banking Relationship, bankers & Investors ) Accounting/Costing/Finance best practices - Digitization system approach
  2. Provide assistance to strategic direction and insights to organization. 
  3. Implement Accounting Policies for the group in consultation with Directors 
  4. Establish finance function objectives in line with organizational priorities 
  5. Planning/ Operations/ Financial Information/ IT/ Risk Mgmt/ Funding/ Third parties 
  6. Knowledge of the local and international accounting standards 
  7. Knowledge of the various laws/regulations/rules applicable to the Manufacturing (Auto Components) Industry. 
  8. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles 
  9. Well Conversant with dealing with Bankers/Investors/Govt.Agencies/Overseas relationship 
  10. Provide consultation to the top management for addressing upper tier financial issues such as ideal capital structure, cash management practice, capital funding and investment strategies 
  11. Identify new approaches to funding, investment, inter-company procedures that will improve shareholder value 
  12. Recommend and guide the team toward optimum fund deployment strategies for maximizing profits 
  13. Liaise with the internal team to provide assistance with the due diligence or financial appraisal of any investment opportunity or proposal 
  14. Provide department heads with assistance with the commercial negotiations for large scale contracts that the company would get into 
  15. Maintain good relationship with key external stakeholders- key investors, banks, other funding institutions etc. 
  16. Acquire adequate equity and debt funds to support the company’s growth. 
  17. Review and make necessary modifications to company’s treasury

Accounting and MIS: 

  1. Ensure efficient & effective management of company's finances through all necessary financial controls, systems and processes.
  2. Establish review mechanism for ensuring accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records, system control, IT control 
  3. Oversee financial and accounting system controls and standards and ensures timely financial and variance reports 
  4. Identify key business measures and set up monitoring systems to ensure that the desired targets are achieved. By adhering companies Code of conduct 
  5. Ensure statutory compliance's of all systems, processes & accounting practices 
  6. Assist over preparation of trend analyses/ reports on Financial results, costs,revenues, cost income ratio.Transparency and accuracy of data to Directors 
  7. Identify key business measures and set up monitoring systems to ensure that the desired targets are achieved . 
  8. Prepare trend analyses/ reports on Financial results, costs, revenues, cost income Ratio to give clarity on the financial health of the business to Directors

People Management: 

  1. Develop talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretched targets and take leadership positions
  2. Retain and engage the talent employed and build a collaborative and high performance team
  3. Enhance team productivity through skills development through coaching and training
  4. Ensure objective periodic administration of the performance appraisal process followed by monitoring of feedback implementation for the team
  5. Ensure adequate succession planning and capability buffer building in the Finance department
