Educational Qualification: MBA in Finance/CA

Skill & Knowledge:
Financing:
- Business Financial Strategy /Planning , Operation ( Including overseas ) , Financial Information, Risk Management , Funding , Third Party ( Investment Communities, Banking Relationship, bankers & Investors ) Accounting/Costing/Finance best practices - Digitization system approach
- Provide assistance to strategic direction and insights to organization.
- Implement Accounting Policies for the group in consultation with Directors
- Establish finance function objectives in line with organizational priorities
- Planning/ Operations/ Financial Information/ IT/ Risk Mgmt/ Funding/ Third parties
- Knowledge of the local and international accounting standards
- Knowledge of the various laws/regulations/rules applicable to the Manufacturing (Auto Components) Industry.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Well Conversant with dealing with Bankers/Investors/Govt.Agencies/Overseas relationship
- Provide consultation to the top management for addressing upper tier financial issues such as ideal capital structure, cash management practice, capital funding and investment strategies
- Identify new approaches to funding, investment, inter-company procedures that will improve shareholder value
- Recommend and guide the team toward optimum fund deployment strategies for maximizing profits
- Liaise with the internal team to provide assistance with the due diligence or financial appraisal of any investment opportunity or proposal
- Provide department heads with assistance with the commercial negotiations for large scale contracts that the company would get into
- Maintain good relationship with key external stakeholders- key investors, banks, other funding institutions etc.
- Acquire adequate equity and debt funds to support the company’s growth.
- Review and make necessary modifications to company’s treasury
Accounting and MIS:
- Ensure efficient & effective management of company's finances through all necessary financial controls, systems and processes.
- Establish review mechanism for ensuring accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records, system control, IT control
- Oversee financial and accounting system controls and standards and ensures timely financial and variance reports
- Identify key business measures and set up monitoring systems to ensure that the desired targets are achieved. By adhering companies Code of conduct
- Ensure statutory compliance's of all systems, processes & accounting practices
- Assist over preparation of trend analyses/ reports on Financial results, costs,revenues, cost income ratio.Transparency and accuracy of data to Directors
- Identify key business measures and set up monitoring systems to ensure that the desired targets are achieved .
- Prepare trend analyses/ reports on Financial results, costs, revenues, cost income Ratio to give clarity on the financial health of the business to Directors
People Management:
- Develop talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretched targets and take leadership positions
- Retain and engage the talent employed and build a collaborative and high performance team
- Enhance team productivity through skills development through coaching and training
- Ensure objective periodic administration of the performance appraisal process followed by monitoring of feedback implementation for the team
- Ensure adequate succession planning and capability buffer building in the Finance department
